A full-time professional variety entertainer since 1986, Mark Lippard has toured all across the United States, as well as Canada, Jamaica, Japan and Russia. He is a crowd pleaser at festivals, military bases, resorts, country clubs, corporate functions and many other special events.
Mark is personable, easy to work with, arrives early, works extremely hard and handles himself with the utmost of professionalism. The variety and quality that Mark displays make him one of the most sought after entertainers around.
Over the years, Mark has entertained for some of the top corporations in America. He has performed at college, NBA and NFL games and won multiple awards, including the International Juggler's Association team championship. If you are looking for high quality entertainment that will connect immediately with your audience, you are in the right place! Mark Lippard has the experience necessary to take your entertainment to the next level. Making your event successful is our goal. From initial contact to post-performance, we want your experience to be enjoyable.
Mark can provide Shows and Roving entertainment.
Mark's show is a dazzling display of pure talent, athleticism and lots of variety. He delivers a fast paced, high-energy performance full of clean laughs, juggling, trick unicycling, fire eating, balance and surprising fun-filled audience participation. Mark's show is appropriate for any age group. The length of his performance varies, depending on the audience, facility and type of event.
Mark enjoys people and it shows. As soon as he takes the stage, his connection with the audience is obvious. He has a warm, outgoing personality that draws people in.
Roving, or "strolling", entertainment adds an additional spark to any large event. Roving works great at malls, sporting events, festivals, trade shows, resorts, grand openings, social hours or any large gathering where other activities are also taking place. But, he is no ordinary roving artist! Mark will mingle in and out of the crowd on stilts and sky-high unicycles. While on stilts, he truly entertains and interacts with the crowd by juggling, eating fire, dancing and making wild balloon hats/animals. It is highly visual and draws quick attention. Mark performs with one of the most unique unicycle collections in the country. He is a guaranteed crowd favorite.
Whether planning a black-tie event, a Medieval Theme party or a Christmas banquet, Mark can provide the perfect entertainment to complement your theme. We want to help make your event memorable. Here are some ideas we have seen work well:
Mark can appear as Uncle Sam on stilts or will simply wear patriotic colors and use red, white and blue props and balloons for balloon sculpturing.
Who better than Mark? With his wide variety of props and skills, he is perfect!
A roving stilt walker wearing black tails adds a nice touch at your special event.
Mark has a wonderful holiday show, with decorated props and seasonal background music. It is extremely festive! He can also do roving and parades, or even pre-parade entertainment, while wearing seasonal colors.
An entertaining court jester is just what you need to complete your event. Stilt pants are even available with this beautiful costume.
Because of Mark's visibility when he performs, corporate sponsors love him! He can do several things to promote your company:
When Mark performs for colleges and universities, he will also use balloons that reflect school colors and, if desired, can wear a university t-shirt or golf shirt, provided by the school.
Note: There is an extra fee to cover costume rentals and custom-made props or stilt pants.

Mark Lippard was amazing and very entertaining at a corporate event I was part of on Hilton Head Island. He's absolutely a terrific athlete to do the things he did as a juggler -- whether he was on his unicycle or a big walking globe.

Tell us about it!A: A show is a performance for an attentive audience that is seated, either in an auditorium, outdoor stage area or other similar facility. Mark uses a microphone and background music. Roving entertainment, or strolling, is when he mingles among the crowd on stilts or unicycles, entertaining small groups of people at a time while other activities are taking place.
A: Our prices vary, depending on how much entertainment you need and how far he has to travel to your event. Mark can do shows, roving or a combination of both. Please call, email or fill out the Contact Form to receive further information. Be as specific as possible about your special event.
A: Mark's ideal stage size is 16' wide x 12' deep with steps to the front-center or front-side. When there is portable seating, there should be no more than 6' of open area between the front of the stage and the first row of chairs/tables. For temporary staging indoors, the stage should be set up in the center of the long wall of the room. He needs a minimum of 14' of clearance from floor to ceiling, although he is flexible and can work with less. For the show, Mark requires a professional sound system, a wireless lapel microphone (NOT a headset) and a CD player. A sound technician must be present to run the sound. When he drives his own vehicle, Mark can set up and run his own sound system if you do not have one available. In auditoriums, a general wash is needed on stage. However, there must be good backlighting. One or two floor cans at the back of the stage are very helpful.
A: Mark has separate prop cases for flying and for driving. This allows him to travel extensively. He is even able to fly with his giant unicycle, which breaks down and fits into a special prop case.
A: Yes and yes! He gears each show toward your specific audience. ALL of Mark's comedy is clean.
A: Absolutely! Even when he roves through the crowd, he interacts with all ages.
A: See Press Kit for biographical information to use in brochures, press releases, radio/tv spots and other media.
